Membership Terms and Conditions

The International Certification of Quality (ICQ) welcomes individuals, organizations, departments, and ministries committed to excellence and continuous improvement. By applying for ICQ Membership, applicants agree to the following terms and conditions.

Definition

1. The ICQ Department is an international private body that sets quality standards in healthcare, education, training, management, and various quality systems.
2. It monitors and controls the implementation of these standards, ensuring continuity, and issues international quality certificates (ISO and ICQ) in compliance with the specifications of the International Organization for Standardization.
3. All titles, procedures, and specifications on this website are subject to change or modification at any time. Furthermore, all membership and service fees are subject to change at any time and are updated at the beginning of each calendar year.

1. General Provisions

1. All titles, procedures, and specifications published by ICQ Department may be updated or modified at any time and apply to all existing and new memberships unless otherwise stated.
2. Membership and service fees are reviewed annually and may change without prior notice.
3. ICQ Department reserves the right to accept or reject any application without providing justification. Applicants will be notified of the decision. 

2. Eligibility Requirements

A. Professional Membership (Individuals)

Applicants must:
1. Hold at least a two year diploma.
2. Be at least 28 years old.
3. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in their field of specialization.
4. Specify their area of expertise in the application.
5. Submit an official recommendation letter from their employer addressed to the ICQ Executive Director.
6. Submit the completed membership application.
7. Pay the annual membership fee.

B. Institutional & Departmental Membership.

Eligible applicants include:
1. Government ministries.
2. Public and private institutions.
3. Departments and quality units within organizations.

They must:
1.  Be legally registered entities.
2. Demonstrate commitment to quality standards and continuous improvement.
3. Provide accurate and complete information in the application.
4. Submit all required documents listed in the membership form. 

3. Membership Obligations

All members (individuals and institutions) agree to:
1. Uphold ICQ’s professional and ethical standards.
2. Cooperate with ICQ during evaluations or verification processes.
3. Use the ICQ Member Logo only according to official usage rules.
4. Maintain accuracy and transparency in all submitted documents. 

4. Membership Benefits

A. Benefits for Individuals
1. Recognition of professional excellence and enhanced career credibility.
2. Permission to use the ICQ quality logo in documents and advertisements.
3. Ability to place the logo on certificates issued to students or trainees.
4. Ability to register training courses and request ICQ issued certificates at reduced fees.
5. Publication of membership information on the ICQ website.
6. Membership certificate and card.
7. Opportunity to collaborate with ICQ in promoting membership and earning commissions.

B. Benefits for Institutions
1. International recognition and enhanced credibility.
2. Access to quality guidelines, consulting, and training resources.
3. Support in obtaining ISO and ICQ certifications.
4. Permission to use the ICQ Member Logo.
5. Increased competitiveness in tenders and contracts.
6. Opportunities for networking, partnerships, and continuous improvement. 

5. Grounds for Membership Cancellation

Membership may be suspended or cancelled in any of the following cases:

1. Misuse of the ICQ quality mark or violation of ICQ regulations.
2. Providing false, misleading, or forged documents.
3. Failure to comply with ICQ quality standards or ethical guidelines.
4. Non payment of membership renewal fees.
5. Any action that harms ICQ Department’s reputation or contradicts its mission.
6. Membership cancellation may occur without refund of fees. 

6. Fees and Payments

1. Membership fees and certificate fees must be paid in full before issuance.
2. Payments must be made according to the details provided on this website (if any) or as specified in the membership approval email.
3. Beneficiaries are responsible for postal charges for printed documents, which vary depending on the destination country and city.
4. Fees are non-refundable once applications are approved.
5. Prior to approval, fees may be refunded after deducting financial transfer commissions and applicable administrative charges. 

7. Renewal & Validity

1. Membership is valid for one year from the date of approval.
2. Renewal requires updated information and payment of the annual fee.
3. ICQ Department may request additional documents or conduct evaluations before renewal.

8. Official Website

1. The ICQ Department's official website is the primary and authoritative source of all information regarding services, fees, and procedures.
2. All applications and requests must be submitted using the forms provided on the website.  

9. ICQ Logo Usage Terms

1. The ICQ logo may only be used while membership is valid.
2. The logo must be displayed in a small size in one corner of the certificates issued by the member, with dimensions not exceeding 2x2 cm.
3. The logo may be used in the member's printed materials and publications, as well as in their advertisements, in a manner that does not suggest the advertisement is issued by the administration or is a joint effort between the member and the administration.
4. Violation of these terms may result in the immediate termination of membership and all associated privileges.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting the membership application, the applicant (individual or institution) confirms that:
1. All provided information is accurate and complete.
2. They fully accept these terms and conditions.
3. They authorize ICQ to verify documents and conduct necessary evaluations. 

11. General Provisions

1. The Institution reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time.
2. Updates are effective immediately upon publication on the official website.
3. Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the country where the Department is headquartered, unless otherwise specified.
